Security access denied, exeeded the number of attempts!

I am using the betta 2.23.444 and when i scan this vehicle (which is a 2008 turbocharged cobalt) it gives me this error. The vin is 1g1ap18x287339488 and the os it has on it is 12625310. I did a full write, a calibration write, a full read and ect. And still the same issues. I can datalog but that is it...!!

I DIDNT DO A PRINT SCREEN SINCE THERE IS NO ERROR NUMBERS. This is all it says. The Owner drove 9 hrs to me so im hoping to get this sorted out soon..

    Any help Is Appreciated.

Ive tried repairing and everything else. I can scan it and log but not read the tune or even write te tune..

    thanks

If you email support with a screen shot they will get back to you pretty quick. They will tell you where to go from there.
Usually this is from flashing a tune from another car into the computer. The vin and os numbers not matching causes some error. Im not sure exactly how it works. I did it on accident a while back and had to have chevrolet flash the car back to stock entirely before i could recredit it.

You need a base file to match the VIN year. If had TF on it, it may have changed. Vince sent out '09's for everything in the beginning days. If you need an '08 stock or GMPP base file let me know pronto. My email is in my profile. I was out today so I just saw this. HTH.

That OS matches my OEM stock # so I have a file for you and that looks like an '08 Model Year VIN. IDK what the problem is.

I just looked and I have a '09 GMPP file with an 1g1ap18x... VIN, but that is def an '08 os.

I'll send an '09 file also in case. All I have is a GMPP one though, no stock file so you will have to bugger the MAP sensors, ect.

the lnf ecm via hptuners cant be locked. Ive chatted with vince and its not a trifecta car. And if itry to read or write any file itwont give me access!! So im thinking it may be somthing on the hptuners side. I had a similar isue with a hhr. ( the vin wasnt in the system) I dunno lol.. I have chatted with bill so hopefully we will figure it out!!

    thanks guys!

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
