From the snap shot it looks like you need to repoll the scanner. (config-unknown ID:0)

As c.u said, repoll your scanner. It's under Engine -> General.

The ID for it is [PID.2126].

This forum is going to hell in a handbasket. Not blaming anyone in particular, but it's the truth.

No one knows how to be anyone's friend anymore, just like the rest of the people are acting in our country. Instead of having a group of people who can all do great things, it's more like one person is always trying to get to the top. And once he/she is there, they expect everyone else to bow before them in the hopes of receiving some tuning sympathy.

Even more sad is the world is full of pussies now. Everyone hides behind their computer, but as soon as anything gets fiery they turn into a little bitch.

I see it everywhere now and it makes me so damn mad.

Now THAT is funny. The first thing I do when someone acts like this, is go back and read their posts (ie...questions) from 5 years ago...then I laugh when I see exactly where THEY learned it from. This is not rocket science fellas, but experience does play a hand. I've had help from so many people and I'm grateful...and if Chris can answer questions to support the product, then we all probably should, since there really are no clear directions for some features and some of us are on here just trolling for biz anyway, so why not help while making $. Remember...it's just a forum.

I prefer wideband data myself. It avoids any error in the existing calibration.

....and if you look long enough and hard enough you can find nuggets and tidbits where Dave has been more than helpful regarding this. Hell, he actually posted one of the old strings that he was using. I was able to put enough together to get it to work on my E38 close enough to quickly and easily rough a ve table in.

The search tool is incredibly powerful. Sometimes when I respond to others questions and try to help.....I lead them back to where I learned so that they can read the same thread that I found that helped me.

Pretty easy to incorporate wideband data with VE airflow to generate a silky smooth VE table the way I'm doing it.

Ah, you're comparing either raw MAF airflow or dynamic airflow against VE airflow and calculating the percentage error.

I back calculate off of the wideband's lambda reading. That way, it'll function in open or closed loop. The plus side to that, at least in my opinion, is that it doesn't require a fully calibrated MAF.

I don't remember the folder name, but there will be a folder with a bunch of files just named as numbers. I think it's under My Document->HP Tuners->Scanner. Delete all those, then start the scanner and connect to the car.

I think you only have to delete if you're forcing a repoll, otherwise it does it auto if it's telling you to repoll...

Need to connect to the car with that OS deleted from the polled folder so it can re-poll.

Threads like this crack me up. It goes both ways though. Person willing to learn, but tuners not willing to share the hard work they have put in.

This subject in general is fairly simple though. Just need to keep your head in it for a bit till the light bulb goes off. Then its all down hill from there. Anyone can learn it, its just a matter of if your willing to put the time in that others have.

WTF??? I can't find that anywhere... Under HP Tuners I have three folders "Logs and Tunes", "Settings", and "VCM Scanner" I have looked in every folder and subfolder and there aren't any files like that.

Does connecting the scanner to the car not run the "scanning for supported parameters" thing?
