Just purchased VCM Suite Std. - have 2 vehicles... credit question...

Just purchased hptuners vcm suite std... couple of questions come to mind...

can I data log ANY supported vehicle without having to have credits or be licensed for that vehicle??


also, I know it comes with 8 credits... so:

I have a 2006 Monte Carlo SS 5.3L / 4T65E-HD -- has separate ECM and TCM modules...

I also have a 2012 Sierra 5.3L - has separate ECM and TCM modules...

if I were to tune these two vehicles, does that use up 2 credits - 1 for each vehicle ecm/tcm combo? or does it use up 4 credits - one credit for each ecm/tcm module??

ok, so every vehicle no matter what is at least 2 credits, even the old vehicles that only have a single pcm, and not ecm and tcm, those still require 2 credits...

Hi 06montess, welcome to the club.
We exchanged some emails in the past for predator purpose but ended-up with this tool and self tune...this is a step forward unit but less begineer-user friendly.

hey there!! Yes, I remember your username....

yeah, the tuning part shouldn't be much of a big deal since I've been doing custom tunes with diablo's CMR tuning software for about 4-5 years now, hehe, but getting to learn this software, layout, where everything is, etc will be the learning curve hahaha....
