I had the license for a buddies car and he sent in his pcm to ZZP . when he got the swapped pcm back from zzp his car was running like ish so he brought it to me. I tried to flash to it but it is now locked and asking for me to purchase a new license. How do I go about unlocking it since we already have a license for his vin/car?

they likely swapped to a new pcm, either that or they flashed the old pcm with a new vcm id number, either way if the vcm id number is different you'd need to license the new vcm id number if you want to tune his new pcm. Our software doesn't license a vin number, it licenses the vcm id number unique to each pcm.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
