6T40 Tuning

Just realized I posted this in V6 can a mod move to GM L4, I5, I6 Transmission Tuning

So I do alot of tuning on V8's and related transmissions, however I had my father ask me to tune his 2010 2.4L Malibu because he said it feels so held back, which is the case as because of torgue management and all and also very low timing maps. So that being said I have done some tuning on the engine so far and the car i way more responsive etc, but when it comes to this transmission I am not really finding any details of how well it will react to less torque management and trying to make the shifts more positive and have it stop hunting for gears so much. So if anyone has been tuning these transmission let me know some things that seem to give positive results.
