VCM scanner General vs supported scans

Have a new 2013 Cad ATS 2.0 and as others have asked/answered there is not yet support for this app.

But I thought I could scan this car using the generic imperial config and when I start 2.24 scanner and open this config, click on datalog
, unplug usb per directions, push log , I get error and even before do not seem to connect.

I thought I could at least log the generic but not the ATS specific, pids. Do u needed supported ap do do a generic log??

Followed directions on mpvi pro standalong datalogging.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Try scanning using the scanner/laptop rather than standalone datalogging.
