    Knock after NLS normal?

Was noticing on my logs last night at the track that I was getting knock after NLS'ing 2-3 and 3-4.. not entirely sure why, although my MAF calibration isn't finalized yet, it's still not bad at all; however, it only had knock on 1 or 2 cells in previous runs since I was tweaking after virtually every pass down the track. I was gaining about half a tenth on every tweak, every pass. On the 4th pass, I got more knock, and yet, car still ran faster. Is this false knock or is there a certain amount of knock that the car won't correct for until it cuts power? I've noticed this a lot lately; even on Vince's tune where I was getting tons more knock, the car would still run low 13's, like 13.2 as a best, and 13.3 consistently even though it could've been knocking up to 8º according to a log I did before I swapped over to HpT.
Also, the car ran strong but I'm looking for anywhere else I can make more power than what I already am; any good tuners here can point out some things/places that I could improve my tune? I actually wasn't finished tweaking but it was busy last night so not many passes down the track. All in all, I've beaten Vince's best and with the same mods; but I haven't broken into the 12's yet and it seems near impossible without either meth injection or a big turbo. I've seen CMiller's car run 11.96 and another (I forget who) ran around a 12.0. How on earth are they a full second faster with the stock turbo??? Is it just my elevation and tires or is there some secret to gain a full second in an Hp tune?
I'm attaching my tune file, and the best log from last night which ran [email protected] and in which I had knock in 3rd and 4th gear after a NLS whereas on at least 2 of the other passes, I had knock in maybe 1 or 2 cells total; yet with more knock, I'm faster??

are you using slicks, rear suspension mods, axle geometry corrections?

Negative on any of that... will have some lowering springs in the near future, and will also be ordering/installing rotated trans mounts from ZZP to go with the lowering springs. What are axle geometry corrections? Lol.. never heard of that before.
And what about the knock issue? It seems false since the car kept on going faster n faster as I added timing on every run.. did it 3x and got lower times and a tad more knock each time; yet it still ran faster. Initially, I had like 1 ºor 2º in no more than 2 cells, but as you can see in this log, there's a lot more but still not serious I think since it was still getting better before I ran out of time.
I guess.. for curiosity's sake, are there any cars in Colorado with full bolt-ons and a good Hp tune running the same times as me, or are they another second slower than me? At least that way I'd know for every 2500' of elevation, you lose an entire second but that seems a little unrealistic. Idk

driver mod. 112 trap is capable of a 12.0-12.2

also try putting pee wee footballs in the rear springs, chain down the front springs, experiment with different air pressures in the tires, higher in back lower in front (45ish in back, 20ish in front). dial in the launch. if you can get a sub 2.0 60 ft, your times will reflect it.

that was my next statement. i ran two donuts on the rear at high pressure like 45 psi and installed 2 soft footballs in the rear springs.
with dot 18" rim slicks at 18 psi(after burnout temp) i ran a 12.2 not the best but for the cost of mods i felt proud enough to walk away after destroying a set of slicks. i trapped 111

with that in mind i have never seen someone chain down the front springs. you have a picture of someone doing this cause id like to see it!

don't have a pic and have never done it myself but chain down the front spring from the bottom coil to the top coil, making sure it is very tight, im assuming with S hook at each end. it limits the front strut and spring's expansion thus keeping the front planted rather than lifting under accelleration....or at least that is the theory of it. motorcycle drag guys use tie down straps to strap their triple trees and forks down so they stay at that particular level of compression and don't decompress. same concept i guess

Driver mod you say? Lol 14% throttle launch and 25-40% max throttle in 1st gear.. anymore than that and it spins or hops to the point where the time decreases.. I've tried every other combination including pressures and all that nonsense; my launch is the best I can find with 2.2x 60' times as the norm. I'm using street tires, not slicks or DR's.. if I can't drive it on the street legally, then why bother at all? I wish I could get slicks or DR's.. maybe someday but even so, only good on the track. And to get a 12.0 here, you'd have to trap 120mph.. I raced a Z06 on the track, he did 12.9@116; true, not the best driver, but certainly not the worst.. his 60' was 2.1 if I recall.. I still have the slip kicking around. 2013 Shelby GT500's have been running around 12.4@117 here as well.. The older ones with mods and slicks can hit high 11's but still only trap a max of 124mph; I'm talking 750hp cars there. A guy I know has a supercharged Camaro and with Nos engaged, it'll do an 11.0.. he cuts 1.6 60' consistently.. he rapes 4wd vehicles.. Think Jeep SRT8 with a blower.. about 8/10 faster and that Jeep only traps maybe 115-118mph. Maybe our air quality is really shit, Idk but I figured a 12.0 would be around 118mph.
