E40 12603159 ECM OS to 12604792 ECM Os

Hello
Would like to update my Ecm Os to the newer 12604792 version.
How would I do this and any problems with the Segments and Slave?
The reason for the update is more flex fuel tables. Do I just find a file with the new OS and put my vin #
in and do a write complete? Would I license the new file and change all the VE and MAf tune from my current tune
in to the new OS file then Write complete? DO I need to do anything with VATS or CASE learn with a write complete.
I am in way over my head.

Thanks Dsteck, just took a look through it and all I can find getting close to this is the how to change your VIN . Is that all I need to do it enter in the vin of the vehicle I would like to use the OS from ?

Anything else would be helpful .. thank you.

EDIT : Just realized your saying to take the new OS file and enter my vin into it.
