Need to do this on an 01 Trans Am and I'm not sure if I'm just missing it in HPTuners, or if it just doesn't have the ability. Thanks.

It'd be nice if we could... I would love to be able to properly bleed my brakes myself!

What is it im missing here? Or is it some ABS bleeding or something? Purge the ABS pumps or something?

It sure as hell would be nice if this was implemented into the software. It would make a big dent in ever needing a Tech II.
Has this functionality been added? I too need to command the ABS solenoid open to purge air out too on 4th Gen F-Body cars!
you don't need to do abs bleed. I have tech II never use it. this is what I do, drive down road, slip one side of car off road surface and lock brakes it will cycle one side of pump, then do other side, do this 2 or 3 times, and much much quicker than trying to do through tech II. you can do all for corners at once with speed and locking wheels up at once just a little harder to do. And by the way, when I was with GM had an engineer that built the abs bleed into the system, that told me to do that. so that should tell you something there

I've tried using the Tech II method...it's annoying. Just flush the fluid in the car, then go out in a giant empty area and stab the brake pedal as hard as you can so the ABS actuates. Do that 2 or 3 times and then go back and bleed each corner the old fashioned way. Doing that gets me a firmer brake pedal...tells me it's working better.

Mike, that's the same method we do in our 96 V6 Firebird lemons car. Works just fine.
