    NW 102 Issues 2011 Camaro

I have installed and tuned Nw102s on CTSVs and C6 without issues but i keep having issues with this unit installed on a 2011 Camaro SS.

Any other car I set the scalar to 7,200 and I'm good to go. When I give this car any throttle over 25% It goes into limp mode and sets the usual codes.

Any help on this would be awesome thanks!

I thought that also at first so i swapped a known good Nw102 off another at the shop and still same issue. It's just this car for some reason.

Might be the P0068 tables under Engine -> Diagnostics. Airflow and MAP delta's are going to change with the different size TB. I would try to adjust them until it works, then give it a factor of safety...but I would not max them out like some people do...then the PCM can't really correct for a runaway throttle.

Tried stock. Increased some. Maxed out... Doesn't fix the issue. Annoying since this is the first car I've had issues with the 102 on.

Yea commanded is around 18-20* but that's relative to how close the idle air flow is because of the over and under factors, which i have set at -16 max and +16 max.

My 2010 Camaro won't idle with any more than 13 degrees at idle with the NW102. If I try to run the 17-18 that I want to, the TB doesn't restrict airflow low enough.

I had the same issue with mine once. Make sure the throttle is not hitting the intake tube or any other obstruction. Check at 25% and see if it hits anything. If it is it will cause that.

I did a smoke test on mine and it leaked at 2 points. Un-metered air was getting in. Nice looking piece but ...

I just put mine back on today. I think I had some junk in the gasket last time. I'm idling at 17 degrees now, and I've FINALLY rid the car of surging too.

I wind up in reduced power mode quickly if I'm in speed density, but it seems fine 100% of the time when the MAF sensor is enabled.

Yea it's running pure maf. It's a DBW so it really can't "hit" anything.

Actually I am going to take a look at the whipple plate and see if it's making contact.

It was coming through the PIN connectors on the throttle body as well as on the bottom side of the body (very slight leak) there is a small round hole. But the one on the connectors was / is ridiculous..

Is that coming through the connector by the pins, or around the connector by the aluminum?

The one on the bottom on mine is sealed up tight.
