New Windows 8.1 Machine, no CD Drive questions.

Hey Guys,

Just ordered VCM Suite and am setting up my new machine. Have searched on the topic but haven't found anything recent on the subject so I am gonna ask here =)

I have a brand new Acer laptop running on Windows 8.1 64 bit. It has no disc drive. I have downloaded version 2.24. Are the drivers included in the download? Will I need anything else to install on this machine?

If you didn't get an answer elsewhere, I just did this on my 8.1 64-bit system. There is a download here on the forum, just do a search. It was kinda annoying to get Win8.1 to recognize the driver. Plug in the unit and right-click on the USB (should show that it's HPTuners) and go into the driver settings. You just need to unzip the driver file and dump it somewhere on your hard drive and select that folder in the driver updating menu. That worked for mine thsi afternoon. Our drivers are also in windows update. If you let windows search online for the driver it should find them.
