GARBAGE.... Help?!

So I read my car,committed and licensed it, modified my stock tune, saved it with a new name, wrote it to the car.

I now go to open said tune today to work more on it and "I dont have a license for this file".... I am also being repeatedly asked for my application key when opening VCM Suite.

I have already re-downloaded and re-installed and have the same issue. Call me a customer with expectations but this pisses me off.

Anyone know what I need to do? Could I even have modified and saved the stock tune and written to the car if I did'nt license it properly? I notice my customer profile still shows 8 credits which it would'nt if it licensed?

customer profile shows a running count of how many you have had total, not current to use. Post the file. Plug your hpt cable into the computer you are trying to use. Press the white bubble with the I in it at the top. Press same button again on the new window that pops up. Try to open tune again.

That seems to have worked. Shows my license and I can now save the tune. Much thanks! So is that something I need to do every time I expect to mod tunes? (connect the cable to the computer?) Trying to figure out if its something Im doing wrong or what....

Im guessing your not using the same computer you first did it with? This only needs to be done if you are switching between computers. The licenses are stored in the hpt box and this copys them to the computer.

No same computer and everything. All I can think of is it was a new computer and ran some updates...
