There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies. The first method is far more difficult.
Just wanted to triple check - if a customer's 6.0L F-Series truck has even so much as a transmission tune from a programmer, the file will throw a checksum error when attempting to edit, right?
If you get a checksum error, send the file into support and we can take a look at it. The way the software is setup, we look for certain things when checking the checksum. If the checksum fails, but the codes for the checksum are disabled, we can assume its a non-stock file and correct the checksum automagically.

Eric,
Thanks for the clarification - I didn't want to make more work for you guys unnecessarily!
Does anyone have a config file for the 6.0? I'm trying to read EOT and ECT also I would like to see what my IPR pressure is along with all the other good stuff.
I will be working on this pretty darn soon.

Any more action on FICM tuning access yet?
We would like to change some of the injector values and voltage trouble codes.
How about TCM tuning for the 6.0 is there a eta available for that?
Edit just read tcm tuning is supported

As of the latest beta logging is supported. I haven't tried it yet but going to either tomorrow or Saturday.
Haven't been able to test yet. Haven't got the beta update yet and the truck I was gonna test it on flaked out. So I'll try sometime this week.
