VD works fine with 2.25. Just go into the log in excel and change the names of each monitor logged to what you want. Make sure time is time, rpm is rpm, and tps is tps, rest is moot.

Well, after a few hours of bracketing the intake and exhaust cam angles. This is what I came up with. UPDATED!!!

what did you do to get into OP?
This seems to be a common issue. That's all I did and mine definitely works. I don't believe it shows that it's in OP mode in the scanner when viewing the mapped point load, but my car definitely runs OP mode VCT and other tables.

What is "Distance along Mapped Points" for VCT?

Just to revive this thread on a similar topic. I recently tuned a 2012 5.0 with intake, catback, and cat deletes. I completely retuned the intake VCT from 50 degrees to 10 degrees of advance with the exhaust cam locked at 0. After the intake cam was completely dialed in with the exhaust still at 0 the car made peak power at 6200rpm. Every 5 degrees of retard on the exhaust cam would pick up 10-15 whp everywhere and peak power would move up 200-400rpm. After the tune was finalized, said car made peak power at 7100 rpm with holding peak torque from 4000-5500rpm.

When you state you re-tuned VCT from 50 to 10 degrees, do you mean that's the range that you ended up with, or you changed from 50 degrees to 10 max timing on the intake cam?
Any chance you are willing to share where you ended up with the timing curves? I have a similar setup as the car you just posted about.
Im still confused why I see such big differences in peoples posted cam curves on bollt on Coyotes with stock intakes manifolds.

When I say I tuned the vct from 50-10 degrees of advance, I mean I bracketed the cam angles. Locked the intake cam at 50 degrees of advance from 1000-700 rpm and did a dyno pull, then locked it at 45 degrees and did a dyno pull, then 40 degrees, and so forth all the way to 10 degrees. By doing this I am able to see which cam angles make the most torque at a given rpm. Once the intake cam is dialed in, I then retard the exhaust cam in 5 degree increments until there is no longer power to be made doing so. I'll post my VCT tables tomorrow.

Do you have any opinion on where the cams should be for part throttle for max torque? Im thinking of passing where you want the torque to be there even when part throttle. Do you think the same Cam timing would be around the same as for full throttle?
