    Bricked Computer Help

I have a 03 Silverado ss OS 12593058 bricked the computer truck was at work and needed to get it home bought one off ebay matching numbers on the sticker installed new computer used credits and got truck home. ok now for my problem new computer was out of a suburban some tables were different but engine seems ok, transmission shifts through all gears and locks up fine but when over 50% throttle there seems to be a stutter when it shifts 1-2 2-3. I was told to ensure trans segment was the same and they are not old computer used 12592385 and new one 12585428 I know how to do the swap but cant find the right file. I am not a pro at this but what is the difference in trans segments any? could that be causing my bad shifting or am I going in wrong direction new computer OS is 12579405 which seems to be fairly common but cant match trans segment. need help about ready to just give up and eat the credits and have old computer fixed

I would take the STOCK file from your original OS and do a "Write Entire" to the new PCM and start from there. If the hardware is the same, this is a better option to work from. Just be sure you don't use any suspect files that may have caused the issue. Move them to another folder or delete them or something.

Yes. As long as the hardware is compatible. Write entire will flash the complete OS

may be dumb question but what can I check hardware wise to ensure I don't brick another one. the 2 files I have attached would be the ones I would want to swap. the new computer had all the same numbers on the exterior tag also if that means anything

    thanks for the help

All green/blue PCMs can be flashed with any file read from another green/blue. It doesn't matter if the tune is from a car, truck or van, it will work good.
However, you have not answered my question. Why did the old PCM brick? If you messed with certain parameters in the tune and the PCM bricked after flashing it, you will brick the new one if you write the same tune to it.
Do as Jaime say, write entire the stock tune from the old PCM to the new one, then start over with the tuning.
