Gathering info for the first time

I just recieved my hp tuner suite today. I'm pretty excited to say the least. I have a 05 dodge with the cummins. I'm using Firepunk as a tuner to start off. So I have followed directions all the way up to opening the vcm editor, clicking read, and then gather info. I get a "Interface not found or not responding". I called my tuner and he asked me to unplug the unit, try a different USB port, restart the computer, and look to possibly update the driver. I'm still not having any luck. Anyone else ran into this? I have emailed hp tuners support and figured I'd give the forums a go. Thanks!

Did you install drivers for it?

Look in device manager and see what is showing up. I would bet the drivers are your problem

Google HPTuners USB drivers and you'll find a thread that goes through it in detail.

Thanks! I looked into it a little more lastnight and I'm thinking that's the issue currently. Moving that direction for now.

That was my problem. Followed steps to Installl drivers and that allowed everything to work. Thanks again!
