    Error???

    I have a PCM I bought from an individual off of Facebook in a group..

    He told me it was for an 05 GMC, but I can not get it to communicate with HP Tuners on either the viewer or editor...

    It keeps giving me a detect protocol failed...

    Did the guy sell me a junk PCM?

    I have 3 other PCM's 2 from 01 Silverado's and 1 from an 01 suburban....

    Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

    could be a wiring or ecm issue, that would be the most common reason for this error.
