this ecm was tuned with hptuners the first time after flash but that still doesn't mean it doesn't have a problem.the ecm is 06 gto a4 converted to manual t56. it should tell the year and car ecm is from on hp.i would have a hard time believing that a 2005 gto ls2 is any different than 2006 gto ls2 and the ecm would know the difference.anyway I have another ecm coming.we'll see tues

It depends on whether or not the original tuner changed the vin for the T56 application - very easy to corrupt an ecm... I've personally done this changing the vin using GM software, but that particular instance resulted in stalling and being unable to apply OS upgrades...

I know now what happened,i was sent a 2005 gto ecm # 12597883 from a4 with the motor 2006 gto ls2 t-56 and sent it with wiring to be made stand alone and flashed and basic tune to 2006 gto (SOB) I just took for granted it was from the same motor and year(MY BAD)I was never told it was an 05 ecm and didn't know enough to check and the guy that flashed it didn't either.my first big lesson on ls swaps.thanks guy for all your help.IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU, CHECK The SERVICE # ON ECM

I thought it was a corrupt file - exactly what it was sounding like I bet if you get it to act up while idling with a vacuum gauge hooked up and snapping the throttle - you would see what I was talking about with that too... It's getting almost to the point to where when doing swaps, I prefer the owner to install a new ECM for the application... Keeps you from chasing your tail for weeks or sometimes even months

Glad you got it straightened out or at the least figure out...

I can picture this happening once it was figured out.

2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
