Question Injector data for Racetronix INJL48 48#

    Hi guys,

I'm just starting with my project, a 2002 CETA with some mods to the engine. The previous owner installed Racetronix 48# injectors in anticipation of adding power adders down the road. Since the cars runs not very well I'm starting to look into the tune and hence bought the HPT pro package.

I understand that correct data for the injectors is vital to the whole calibration.

Unfortunately I was not able to find any injector data for the Racetronix INJL48 48# injectors. I did gather that by the looks and part # they seem to be identical to Accel 44# 01D116B / 150148 injectors, maybe even their successor 01D117B / 150844:

Has anybody valid data for these injectors available? Help is greatly appreciated

    Good luck.

    I'd go with Sultan's advice.

I'm simply asking for data, because the injectors are in the car that I bought. The next question would have been, which ones to buy if I can not get data. So the LS7s seem to be a popular choice Thank you for that advice.

Would you also consider the popular FAST 36#?

They were OEM in prior GM applications and have complete data including short-pulse and offset... I don't think that's the same boat.

Plus he doesn't need harness adapters or injector extenders to run these in his application... they drop in.

Fast 36# injectors were used in OEM GM applications?

Everything I could find on them said nobody could had data on them. But I didn't look long so maybe I just got bad info.

Yes, they came in the Pontiac GTP's back in the day, the 3.8 SC motors.

To wrap this up: I went with the FAST 36# and I'm very pleased with the result so far. Much better idle and transition with the new injectors and correct data in the tune.
