Injector drive current modification for Nostrum injectors

My plan in the very near future is to get a new modified hpfp and run the new Nostrum injectors designed for the 3.5 ecoboost. After contacting Nostrum, Frank has brought it to my attention that unless one of the tuner software companies can give access to modify the injector drive current the only way to run their injectors would be with a standalone ecu. Which I really would prefer not to have to go this route. The vehicle I am looking to do this on is a 2013 f-150.

Is this something that HP tuners can make happen?

I can also get Nostrum into this discussion if more info is needed, as they have already offered.

Thanks for any and all assistance.

Hello gentlemen, here is a brief summary of what is necessary to calibrate aftermarket DI injectors:
We need the injector characterization, which in GM ECUs is a static flow rate, plus fuel pressure multipliers, Offsets, and Short Pulse Adders. I think the basic characterization stuff is already there on HPT for the F150.
What isn't there, is the electrical drive profile. We need to change: Pull in, Peak, and Hold, both current and duration.
I have a lot more information about this, just let me know where you'd like it sent to.

    Cheers,

    Sam Barros.

Thanks a lot for the prompt reply Eric.

Sam, thanks for responding with the info needed.

I appreciate it, hopefully soon I'll have the 71/63 freak-a-boost twin kit from full race here(been on order since Dec. 28th), once installed I'll be ordering the hpfp and the injectors and we can see what the capabilities of this engine is.

    Thanks
    Dorian

Replied. Can't wait to see how this does. The injectors should flow enough for ~150whp/cylinder, if you have enough pump...
