    Segment swap question 4L80

Please refer to screenshot and tune attached. To do a segment swap on this file to a 4L80, would the donor file have to be the original OS# or the custom OS# it's tuned to in order to be compatible?Kenny OS.png

    Original.

You won't find a stock OS that matches an upgraded OS to make the segment swapper work.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    I found one with ease.

Look in the tune repository. 2006 Chevy Silverado 6.0 engine, it's the second one down. It says (donated stock 2006 6.0/4L80e). That tune has the same OS as the original OS on the picture you posted ending in 12587811

Thank you for the segment, but when I went to download into my HP tuners it said that it was not compatible with my software version because yours is newer. I am new with this system and I'm not sure how to get my software up to your version so I can use it. Do you know how I could do it? I have version 2.24.2013. Thanks again for your help!

You need to download 3.4 from your customer page.

3.0+ has been out for more than a year now. It's going to look pretty different than 2.24 so just be aware and may take some getting used too.
