A/D outputs and Black box logging

Will the outputs still work if a laptop is not hooked up just using the logging function?

outputs are a function of the scanner software...
so you have to have the laptop hooked up and scanning for the outputs to work

also the outputs do not work in black box loging mode for the same reason as above...its a function of the vcm scanner software

I thought maybe you had to load a config file into the hardware for the logging to take place, I guess not.
