PE while tuning MAF using foff667's guide?

Using the guide here: https://www.hptuners.com/help/vcm_ed...to_user_sd.htm for my '00 LS1 / '01 Firebird ECU. Shoved into a 2000 S10. I have an AEM 30-0300 X Series going through the EGR port, which I had to add the pins to the ECU for. I got the VE dialed in below 4K yesterday, all cells are within +/- 0.04% when compared against AFR Error. After plugging in the MAF however, it took a while to get things to settle down and I quit before the 6200Hz range. I was going off of some info I found elsewhere on the forum that said to leave the WOT range for PE, so that's what I did. Anyway, I couldn't get the WOT dialed in very good. I had to add a lot more PE in areas that the MAF wasn't tuned for very well.

My question is, can I safely hit PE and tune the MAF all the way while using the guide above? And is there a way to filter the PE hit out while hitting those frequencies, or should I just leave the data alone and do some WOT pulls on it as-is?

As a side question, which config do I need to send with this so that users may see my EGR WBO2 data?

Thank you everyone for all of your help as of late. I've learned a metric shit-ton in the last two weeks!!
