Took off for work this morning and just about the time I turn onto the highway I get a backfire and DTC pop up. I turn around to head back home to get a different car and more backfires, poor throttle response and it eventually dies. A couple of key turns and it doesn't even fire the starter, a little while later I get it to crank, but no start, a little while after that I got it fired up and back into my garage.
I pulled the codes when I got home, cleared them, and tried to fire it up to get a log and no starter again. Two more attempts with no starter before it fires up. Kinda baffled, it was running great up until now, no tune changes from running well to this happening. Throttle tables are stock, any ideas? Looks like I probably need to replace the cam position sensor (the starred code returned after I cleared them), I don't see anything obvious, it seemed to start and run fine, I haven't driven it yet, however.
