Timing drop when shifting to second gear

I was at the track the other night and noticed the car really felt like a dog when it shifted into second gear. I noticed on every pass I made the timing took a huge drop between first and second gear but held strong between second and third. I couldn't find anything in the timing table that would explain why it would take such a sharp decline between gear shifts. It did it through every pass (20:39:36 in attached log file) and when I looked back at some of my last years passes it did it there as well. What am I missing? The car has a 228R cam and 3200 stall yank converter with bolt ons.
