3.6.5 Scanner Still Freezing after WOT - Opened Support Ticket, no resolution

Get 3.7 - scanner seems to be working much better for me at least. 3.6 is "sticky" if that's the best way to phrase it?

I could think of a better word to describe 3.6 lol

thinking about going back to 3.5.669 and removing the FPCM channels that were causing the lockups and just ride it out that way for a year or so let HPT get everything straight. Nothing worse than getting everything lined up, weather is good, you have few hrs at the track and you hit scan, and it crashes, freezes, channels don't work, and your SOL. Or you review the log just to find out it froze up right where you needed it.

All I really wanted from 2.24 was to have smoother scrolling graphs.

Why would scanner basically quit workign altogether AND my Stabilitrak system fail immediately after writing Entire with 3.6.15? Seems to me that something got messed up from that flash. They both use Canbus and they both dont work at the moment.

I know you think I probably didn't, but I did, send 2-3 separate sets of files at your request, I don't get replies in email from support so i post about it here where I do get some feedback.

This is the reason for the title "3.6.5 Scanner Still Freezing after WOT - Opened Support Ticket, no resolution".

Should I make new support tickets for each separate problem when I'm not getting feedback from any of them? All I get is either "submit a log and debug file" or "submit support ticket".

Keith, if it's the same then is there anything at all that could be different between the two - looking at different history paths or something - I swear 3.7 works much better using the same layout, channel config and everything.

Is there some history path that I need to clean out to fix this?

GHuggins,....at the expense of my dumbness,...but, where you are seeing software 3.7? I only see 3.6 on the main user page. Simply wondering if I'm looking in the wrong spot for updates/something I may not know about. Thanks man.

It's the latest beta you have to have for dodge tuning.

For whatever reason beta always opens the tables, editor and scanner always works better for me - really wondering if there's something that I can delete out to fix my issues with 3.6?

I had a problem with 3.6 on the new computer being very laggy and down right slow for tables to move, channels list for scroll, etc... out of frustration I removed HPT completetly, and reinstalled it (the same version) sure enough that fixed these issues.

and that email was asking for more files which I sent later that day, and that is great not complaining, sent that file and haven't heard anything since.

regarding the latest problems with freezing and stabilitrac.. i literally drove 15mins and the dash DIC was cycling back and forth between normal and "Service Stabilitrack", over over a cycle about 20 seconds with the dash lights cycling also, DIC message, then it would all go away then repeat, without scanner running for about 10mins. It eventually stopped so when I got to where I was going I pulled all the HPT cables, re-seated them, and the drive back was event-less. So I tried scanner again and logged data without freezing... so who knows whats going on

Resolution came today with Beta 3.7.98, I added the two FSCM PIDs and they worked instantly... in the short 15min drive I went WOT allot and I dont see any freezing so if it keeps up, we're good to go
