    15' Whipple F150 Data Drop Out

    OK, just wondering if anyone else out there has experienced this and especially knows of a solution. Basically anything over 30ish percent throttle input and all the important data channels will drop out. We also installed a P3 Track Attack Gauge system in this truck that plugs into the OBD port and reads just like a scanner would - it drops out the same way. Called P3 Gauges who stated it's something to do with whipple's OS somehow taking priority over the communication networks and only applies to the F150's? They have an updated software chip that is supposed to fix the issue - waiting on arrival to see...

    Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has seen or knows of a solution?

    OK, I'm little pissed now - just got off the phone with Whipple - they did this intentially to keep people from reverse engineering their "F150 tunes" - shuts down communication lines above a certain rpm...

    Eric, please tell me you can fix this?

    Yeah, I think it's a bunch of illegal bullshit, but whatever I guess... Thought dealers and everyone had to at least have access to data? Whipple is also looking into changing their encryption - which a file being encrypted is illegal on it's own from a manufacturer like this, but guess they know some loop hole or something?
