Disabling PATS on 2014-2013 ECU

Hey guys, I am working with a friend who is doing a swap on his car, we already got the engine harness etc, It is time to buy the ECU and I was wondering if the hptuners software disable switch is enough to get the car started or if we would need to do something else to completely remove the pats.

I did use the search button but I did not find a concrete answer.

Your best option buy vcm ids on the net for around 100 $ you will be able to prog key and change pcm setting and car modules
