2009 G8 6.0 with 6l80e change tune to Corvette 6.0 so I can have the TUTD function

We are using a G8 L76 with the DOD delete and a 1c Livernois cam. I want to use the TUTD function in the 6l80e tranny. After searching for hours, I think I have narrowed it down to it needs a Corvette tune with the 6l80e so we can wire direct to pin 7. I think I also need to change the throttle pedal over to an Impala or vette throttle pedal for the tune. Then I can also use the Dakota Digital CRC-1000 module for cruise control to work without the BCM.

Question 1. Looks like I need the tune for the 2005 Corvette 6.0 with the 6l80e? Is that the correct year for the TUTD function to work without a BCM?
Question 2. Do I need a VIN to use that tune? I thought I read somewhere that we have to use software to put the VIN in the ECM first before HP tuner software will load it?

I have been tuning turbo sled engines on the standalone ViPec ECUs for a while, but this is my first with the HP tuner software. Thanks for the help in advance.

I don't really know if what you are doing will work, but one thing is wrong. The 2005 vettes were 4 speed.... the 6L80 started in 2006.

I just posted this info over in the GM Transmission sub forum, but here you go.
These are screenshots from a 1978 Malibu swap we have done using a 5.3 and 6L80e from a 2013 Silverado without a BCM. These settings were changed in the Silverado file to enable TUTD with the hardwired approach. This is using the Speartech shifter. I cannot confirm if this will work with other shifters.
