    Base map tuning Newbie tuner

I am doing an engine swap Gen3 E38 PCM, Chev Lumina SS ( Pontiac G8)

Have swopped from stock 6l L98 to a Warhawk Ls7x.

First off which initial settings need to be changed in the PCM to get her to fire up with the new 7l?

Secondly the stock cylinder volume is set as 0.75l, a 7.0l Camaro has a value of 0.875l. If I use the online calculators to calculate volume based on pistons, cylinder vol, heads and gasket I get a value of .8952l. Would it be correct to use this value and does it make a difference to PCM calculations.

Does this value effectively make my motor a 7.16l ?

Set it for the size that the motor is, so if that is .8952 with your calculations, set it there.

If anything else is different you will need to adjust for that like MAF/MAP sensor, if you increased the injector size and so on.

Past that I don't see any reason why it won't just fire up and run, it won't run well but it should run. You'll be re-doing everything anyway.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
