    5.0 scanner PID options

Haven?t messed with a Ford in a minute, but worked one buddies 16 GT with 2.9 whipple last week and was SHOCKED that HP tuners doesn?t support many PIDs to actually tune these rigs..

    What Gives??

It's just because of the Whipple OS. You're good to go with a standard GT strategy or even Roush strategy

Actually we support quite a bit on these. You need to use the latest beta, after the initial read, it will prompt you to update the OSID. If you do this, you will have a lot to look at.

If you do not get this prompt with the latest beta, email the .hpt file to support.

Thanks Eric, I’ll read it with 3.7 and do as you mentioned and see what happens

Eric what’s your email and I’ll send the file over... I used the lastest 3.7 beta and no luck getting a OSID option when I tired to reread the tune file..
Also for whatever reason 3.7 scanner wouldn’t connect to the car either (but older software would and again limited on PIDs)

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
