Why don't the channels change with the layout?

I used this for a 5.3 swap vehicle and made a layout for calibrating the maf, the ve table, and a few other things.
Now I recently used it for something else and made a layout for that and saved it.

Now when I try to switch back to any old layout it switches but the channels remain the same.

More specifically I had a lot of misfire channels added and deleted everything not related.
Now when I go back to my old set up my wideband is gone, afr error is gone. This is not stuff that a click on the green + is going to bring back.

I had these saved, that doesn't work, it brings up the layout but not the channels.

    How does this get fixed?

    Channels and Layouts are separate.

Once you create a channel configuration you need to give it a name and save it to the config. folder. Save layouts and send to layout folder.
