What is a 411 controller????
99-02 is a P01 controller and the 03-06 is a P59 controller..

P01= 0411 controller
P59 is the newer controller. before the gen 4 E38 pcm

It refers to the service # of certain P01 PCMs. Used in many different vehicle platforms in 2001 and 2002 and Vettes in 2003. The whole service # is 12200411 and will be printed on a label attached to the PCM.

And the other P01 PCM used in 1999 and 2000 vehicles was service # 09354896. It is just as capable as the 12200411 and you can put any 99-02 calibration in either PCM. They both interchange just fine. And around where I live both can be purchases for from $20 to $40.
