    Easy Log truncation

In my last tuning software, their was a way to crop a log while viewing it. In the chart window, you could right click the mouse, and drag to another part in the log, and select save as. This way you can save just the part of the log you needed. Even if their was a way to "delete all previous" or "remaining" data from any point.

Yes, this is something we are working on but will take a good bit of work.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I would like to not only be able to crop logs, but make
big one out of multiple little ones (like, for example, to
get a really well populated histogram out of days' worth
    of driving).

Yeah, being able to append and truncate logs would be awesome.

Well, with a little work in excel you can combine several logs worth of histogram data (I used a weighted average approach). The copy/ paste special functions still work for histo data that originated in excel instead of scanner

    Any progress on this?

It has been 11 years, but I'm not sure the functionality is there yet.

You can truncate your log via the Export function in VCM Scanner.

Thanks Keith, I do see that.

Is there a more controlled way to set the zoom range, besides clicking centrally and zooming in? The zoom motions are pretty coarse, so I find it hard to reliably get the start/end points that I want for a range. Livelink's ability to right-click-drag from a start point to end point is extremely useful. A close runner up would be clicking a point, being able to "mark as start", then do the same for an end point, and zoom that range for analysis / export.
