Filters not working in scanner log

So I am working on a Gen4 truck with E38 controller, and am trying to set up some filters to tune VVE and virtual torque charts. I created the filter to give me virtual torque spark at around zero degrees to be "[50110.161]<5 and [50110.161]>-5", yet I can run through the log and many places I see spark way above these parameters highlited in the graph. I even tried to confirm the pid I was logging and used 50110.160 (non-generic) with no change. Am I missing something simple?

Forgot to mention I have the same non-results when filtering on intake cam angle for the VVE charts.
