Was told that there is going to be Audi/VW support for the MPVI2 interface? Do we know what models/years yet? Transmission tuning? Was wondering specifically about the 09+ Audi A4 with ZF 6HP28 and 8HP transmissions.

Haven't herd anything other than its supposed to be coming. Will be awesome though, would love to tune some VWs and Audi's.
As of yesterday reading a GTI goes not work. Recognizes ECU and everything though. Gets serial number or something off DSG TCM also. I keep checking every once in a while with my friends car but I'm guessing until it's added to supported vehicles site it isn't going to work.
Golfs are not supported currently. What year did you try to read?
The currently supported Audi/VW applications are listed here:
https://forum.hptuners.com/showthrea...-Now-Available
ZF8 is supported.
2013. It just says Not Authorized when I try to read it
Audi / VW MED17.1.1 TC1796
2.0T - A4 / A5 / A6 / RS5 / Multivan / Touareg
Does this mean that my Audi A4 B7 is supported? It's a 2005.5.
It specifies the ECU but that doesnt tell us what year A4's are supported.
Please take an infolog and email support.
Tried to read my 14 S4 this afternoon, it recognized the ECU, did some boot loader stuff, and proceeded to say it couldn't read the ECu, and gave me a canned base file off the server. Here's what I got in case anyone wanted to try to open it. It requires me to have a MPVI2 interface plugged in for something.. Mine is on backorder..
Also noted that No dtc's are available, so i'm hoping they'll continue to add to the definitions and give us more access to the rest, as well as access to the DSG TCU..
Many Audi ECMs cannot be read, so you will be provided with a stock file instead. If you reopen the file, the DTC list should now be available.
Any update about the GTI? Not sure if you guys are trying to get into the higher end market or what but I would imagine that would be the most of your business in the Audi / VW market but still no support
OK. I can get you several MK6 and MK7 GTI reads
Do you have an MPVI2 already? You will need one for these vehicles.
Yes sir. Never used it but I went ahead and got one for the new vehicles. I'll return my old interface to have licenses transferred as soon as I can get the expansion device to log analog inputs.
Won't buy a MPVI2 until I am certain that it works for my car. All I was able to pull was this under gather data.
In order to do Anyting you?ll need a mpv2
I'd love to be able to tune my
