wot stuck?

making some hits on the street lastnight and into my first hard pull after 1/8 mile i lifted and began to slow but noticed my rpm werent slowing as much. got the car to a stop and put it neutral and it would idle at 2000rpm so drove back and open hood while a buddy looked for anything hunfg or in the way of the throttle. well nothing was there to i shut the car down for a seconf and restarted it and rpms went to 4000 i taped the gas and it finally came down to normal idle and seems fine now.. any ideas?

I'd guess a vacuum leak, manifold cracked from a backfire
at worst, some vac line, manifold sensor or seal pulled loose
maybe.

drove today and was fine no problems or eratic idling ill check out the vac lines though, and i have had no backfires since i have owned it yet
