2015+ PCM un-lock a j-yard PCM?

I'm looking at options for unlocking a 2015+ PCM.

Can a PCM that has been previously been used on another vehicle (different VIN) be sent for unlocking for use on a new VIN?

Basically, the plan would be to purchase a j-yard PCM and send it with my PCM read for future use on this vehicle.

Go or no go?

That would work. You would just need to supply a read of the stock PCM that is in your vehicle when ordering the PCM Modification service. You would also want to make sure that the spare PCM you are purchasing is compatible with your vehicle.

Thanks. I had seem some things that made me wonder if I had to start with a "NEW" PCM due to SKIM.
