    cylinder airmass calculation

    I am trying to figure out how to calculate cylinder airmass on a 2002 firebird 3.8l. there is a channel in the scanner for it, but it doesn't seem to be supported on the pcm I am using. I want to figure it out so that I can get the spark timing stuff worked out, so I need to know how to calculate the cylinder airmass. Any help is appreciated on the issue.

    I actually found an equation for v6 cylinder airmass on here that I used. I then made a user defined math that was Mass airflow in grams per sec*20/rpm. i then made a graph that was setup like the timing table in the editor software as far as the x and y axis and the labels for each. Instead of using the cylinder airmass from the scanner, i used the user defined math parameter. i put the main parameter that i was wanting to find as the spark retard, and now i just copy paste special subtract the data into my timing table and can keep going from there.
