    Exclamation Mpvi2 : detect protocol failed

    After updating firmware didnt read any cars
    Its says detect protocol failed i tested on camaro ss & Ford Mustang
    And i have two mpvi2 and one mpvi

    Try resyncing your interface. It's under the help menu.

    I do but till now same problem detect protocol failed

    I had the same error, but it was my fault. I was writing to a 2006 H2 and I guess the navigation system screws with it. This didn't occur to me and I chose to "Write Entire" and watched the software erase the files and then crash on write. Now all I get when I try and read or write is "Detect Protocol Failed"

    My fault, cost me a new PCM and 2 credits to fix.

    Not sure if this is your case or not, but if any of it sounds familiar...

    My problem just with mpvi2 i have mpvi1 it working good but the mpvi2 is problem and i have two of this both are same problem

    keith hello buddy I cant get none of my mpv1 or mpv2 I update to the new now none work both have errors
    its with x red
