Stock LS1 New Intake problems it will not run proper at all and im lost PLEASE Help

I am currently helping a friend and I am NEW to tuning. This car is kicking my but (<PG Version here) I would like to say I understand what i have read and tried to apply
Anyway if someone would be kind enough to help me out i would be forever in your debt.

Started with STOCK LS1 stock intake. Decided to add a TSP Aluminum intake with a 102mm TB Note: Went with a card style MAF

Some intakes sit so low they hit the the galley cover bolts. Im not sure if thats the case on this intake. Mine required lower profile bolts. I didnt put the low pro bolts at first and i had a vacuum leak.

Have you set adjusted the T/B idle screw so it will run on it's own and done a TPS reset?
