Thread: lc1 logging in 01 zo6

    lc1 logging in 01 zo6

I would like to capture my wideband info through a circuit and into the pcm.

I dont want to use the air conditioning pressure unit since it basically renders the air useless when hooked up, and since I have an 01 it did not come with EGR. Does anyone have any ideas on where to hook it up? I'm not using my evap, if that helps.

    TIA

I use the rear O2 input on my v6 if that is an option for you.
Not sure on evap but if you can log that voltage in HPtuners it should work.
You may still be able to log EGR volts if you find the correct pin on ECU (pcm) but somone more familiar with the v8's may be able to answer that.
Basically if you can log the voltage in HPtuners and your not using that input it should work fairly well as long as you get the custom PID right in the scanner.
The other issue is somtimes you will get a voltage offset between the WB and HPtuners but that can be corrected with the math for the PID.

I thought we figured this out here:

Basically either tap into the C1-55 pin or put a wire there if there is none, and enable the EGR or tap into the AC pressure sensor and put a toggle switch in line so that the input to the PCM is either the AC pressure or WB. You wouldn't be using the AC while WB logging. If you were going to be using an AEM gauge or XD-16 gauge then you would need to go the EGR pinout route.

I know some have used the rear O2 sensor cable but I don't know how that would work since that would be a 1V signal and the WB is 5V.

Let me borrow your LC-1 and I'll figure it out.

    Found this as well.

Figured out how Kabbott is using the rear O2. Just alter the equation listed here for a 1V differential as opposed to a 5V.

This means deleting at least one of your rear O2's. No biggie.
