I had a good feel for Gev III and IV knock sensor levels after a lot of tesitng, but not much on the Gen V.
I pulled quite a bit of timing out and still get some random false knock. I am running 93, does it in and out of PE, never hear and knock, it is always in the 1400-1800 RPM range and around 0.50/0.60 on the airmass. I am near factory timing right now, a little lower in some spots. I am just wondering if there is some higher injector or valvetrain noise in these areas.
I am really just seeing what others have had success with and why. I typically like to take out the big false knock levels, but leave them a little on the sensitive side so they won't miss knock. Again, I have not messed with these much to feel good.
