What will they help on, I try half the timing table to zero them and truck doing the same power on a stage 2 cam from TSP.

Depends on the cam phaser limiter if it is a 0 degree lockout then playing with vvt will not help.
Log actual intake cam angle.
What will the actual intake cam angle log have to read?
So If the phaser limiter it’s installed on another degree will it gain power?
If a zero degree cam phaser ( lockout) is installed the actual intake cam angle will read zero at WOT.
If you have freedom to play with vvt start with zeros in the table then try to retard 2 degrees at a time until you reach the best airflow.
So at zero degrees I won’t see nothing?
I’ll have to try it, its there a possibility something goes wrong it it’s to much retard on timing playing with the VVT tables?
They phaser limits the amount of retard. If you installed the phaser limiter kit you are ok, if you didn’t then you can have issues. I played around with it and you will get an error code and go into limp mode if it’s retarded too much.
N/A no VVT down low is best. S/C I found no vvt at all is best for power gains
