How are the brake inputs to the ECM and TCM wired ?
When asked a question, regarding an issue that you have asked for help with, answering with "I have no idea" - is of no assistance to anyone.
At this point you have two options ... send everything back to Current Performance Wiring and have them go through the harness that they built ... or roll up your sleeves and do it yourself - which means you will need to get an idea of how it is wired.
We had a customer last year with a Current Performance Wiring kit - wiring harness, ECM, and TCM - who contacted us because the TCC did not lock, and the Cruise Control did not function. Investigation revealed that Current Performance Wiring had only wired one of the brake inputs. We added the second brake input wiring, and everything then worked fine.
Yea I wasn’t asking for a miracle just a good place to start. Anyone else got even ground zero where I should start? I’d hate to rip a harness out of a working truck before I eliminate the little stuff first.
For my 4L60E, I had to replace my original brake switch with a new switch that has switch contacts for control of the torque converter clutch. I got it from PSI and I think it was about $22 plus shipping. Comes with instructions, wire colors, etc.
The hardest part about it was needing a very thin nut to mount it. If you need one, I have an extra. I felt dumb buying just one so I bought four. Not sure if that helped my dumb problem.

1970 Chevrolet El Camino LM7 5.3 liter mill and a 4L60E transmission.
That’s very possible! The truck was 2.2 5 speed originally. Do you have a link for the switch??
Sure, here you go . . .

Was your swap vehicle stick originally?
No, my 70 El Camino originally had a 2-barrel carb on top of a 350 CI small block Chevy attached to a column-shifted TurboHydramatic 350 transmission. The engine had many cracks in the block along the oil gallery walls due to being parked in the early 80's with plain water that froze up in those many winters to cause the cracks. An LS swap was therefore an easy choice to make.
I only have a single pedal to deal with, not a clutch pedal. This brake pedal mount holds the combined brake switch and TCC control switch in the link that I noted above.

I see. Thanks for the help!! I’ll look into it and report back with the fix
