Oh Man!
Glad your ok!
We got this guy Not Sure, ...
Yeah, im ok. I told my friend who was with me who is a big ford guy "You keep your mouth shut now about chevy's not holding up!"
Im still emotionally distraught...As gay as it sounds, i loved that truck like a brother, even though it had trouble getting out of its own way at times...

lemme tell ya...thats one WILD ride doing something like that. Infact, wild isnt the word. its just...insane. Im here to tell ya, that slow motion stuff...its true. As soon as i saw the ground out my window and the sky out the passenger window...i was like "Oh shit...its over"...then it rolled one more time upside down.
Thanks for the condolences guys. If only allstate felt the same way...
Btw, i figure it's worth noting, that when the winch pulled it rightside up, even with all the oil/coolant leaked out of it(and ignoring the towtruck drivers warning) cranked it anyways, and after 15 seconds of cranking, it fired up. LOL! I -knew- you couldnt kill that cast iron block w/ cast heads...I KNEW IT!
Damn...I can't even imagine how that would feel. I think we are all attached to our vehicles in one way or another, and it hurts no matter what to see something like that happen.
Hopefully it'll get resolved, and you'll end up better off than you were...
man that $ucks!
Glad to hear you're alright, and I hope you get back running soon. We don't have enough truck guys on here as it is.

damn man sorry to hear. Glad you are ok though. Shit happens. Like Steve said, we are all attached to our car (at least most of us) so there is nothing gay about what you said lol

Sorry about your truck. First the trans, now this...

Yeah the trans...everything drivetrain related is perfect. The bed is a little cocked, cuz the tailgate is pinched on the right side, so you cant open it.
Whats interesting it, i paniced so bad, when we got out, i couldnt figure out for like 2hrs while waiting for the tow truck, how to get my keys out of the steering collumn...turns out, it was still in Drive.
kinda late here also but glad to hear your ok....

well, its time for me to change my sig on here. Its status is now 'totaled'
I went over today, to take off the license plate, and say my goodbyes.
That self guilt is just beating the hell out of me...
Thanks for all the regrets guys, its great to know that im not the only dude that thinks he's retarded because he gets 10 types of bent-out-of-shape about his car/truck (like steve said).
I pretty much know what 4.8t was/is feeling about his truck burning. (sorry to open an old wound by mentioning it if you read this). His was a lot worse...atleast mine has paint and perfect interior.
Ugh...sucks that it was totaled, but honestly not surprised from the pics you had up. Sometimes these setbacks are all we need to make a big leap forward...(sorry, paraphrasing the movie Real Genius).
Never seen that movie, steve. good advice nonetheless.
