13 Pin 4L60E to 15 pin 4L70E Swap.
Hi all,
First off my hope is that all of you are safe and well out there. Being in a Town that has stay at home orders has given me time to work on my LS -> Jeep swap some more.
Here is my issue:
I have a 2006 Gen III L33 5.3 w/ 4L60E (13 pin connector) and Drive Range Selector mounted externally. This trans has always given me problems (3 rebuilds in 3 years) so I found a GM performance 4L70E at a good price but it has the 15 Pin connector. From searching I know this much:
- 15 pin has 2 extra pins for ISS (which I don't think I need)
- 15 pin uses an internal drive range selector
Im looking for info on what I need to change on the harness and what, if any, changes I need to make in the tune. Has anyone tried this yet?
