    2 bar OS, 2 bar MAP sensor need help setting up!!

    I enhanced my OS without realizing. I mistaking enhanced the OS to 2 bar. So i went out and bought a GM part# 16249939 2 Bar MAP sensor. How do I set this up properly?

    I populated my VE IMRO IMRC tables as previously recommended transposed the columns and rows one at a time.

    The map sensor is reading 200kpa with key on-engine off. Shouldn't it read 0?
    I read some things in other threads about a 2 bar PID but I couldn't find it.

    How should I set the (Intake Air Temperature- Characteristics <MAP Linear/offset >)values? Currently at: 200/8.33

    also, the (Intake Air Temperature- MAP Estimation<min/max>)values? Currently at: 105/10

    and the (Barometric Pressure- Characteristics <MAP slope/offset >)values? Currently at: 94/5

    Key on engine off typically around 100kpa at sea level... high elevation will typically be around 8x kpA KOEO..

    I don't think you have the right map sensor. I googled that part number and it came up as a 1 bar sensor.

    If you input 1 bar MAP data I'd think you'd get back to your ~100kpa key on engine off readings.

    If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    Hmm i think you’re right. Will a 2bar os work with 1bar map? Any benefit to adding a 2 bar without boost?

    If you're going with boost in the future, then leave the OS set as 2 bar. Otherwise, just do a Write Entire and flash it back to your original OS.

    The map you use does not matter. The data you input is what matters.

    Go ahead and put the stock MAP sensor back in and change the data or go get a 2/3 bar MAP sensor and install/plug that data in.

    Don't see your tune but the linear and offset for that 0698 number is;
    207.66 for linear
    9 for offset
