Idle increase without input

I was heating up my engine when it got to 190 degrees the engine went from idling at 850 too holding at 3000 rpms. Does anyone have an idea on what would cause this?

I am new to the tuning world. I have a 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 5.3. BTR stage 2 truck cam, shorty headers, gasket matched exhaust, and a cold air intake. I'm trying to get it to idle easy because of a new 6l80e that needs flashed.

Try doing a throttle clean reset with the scanner.
