I'm working on helping a friend tune his engine, and saw the a low baro cam position table, a medium baro cam position table, and a high baro cam position table, and I was hoping some clarification could be made. when selected, the text box states that the table adjusts

"The Intake camshaft position for the medium barometric pressure region or VIM Offset (global)."

what is this position relative to? full advance? full retard? is the value crankshaft degrees? or camshaft degrees? or some other value? logic would say that it's relative to full retard, as that's the position the cam would default to.

Does anyone have any pointers for making improvements to power and torque via cam phasing?

Thanks-

Eric
